Miami scratched across a run in the ninth on a throwing error by catcher Patrick Bailey and an RBI single by Jakob Marsee, but Giants reliever Ryan Walker induced a double play to end the game.

Schmitt finished 2-for-3 with a double and the homer. Ramos went 2-for-4 with a homer and an RBI. Arraez added two hits and an RBI. Gilbert homered and walked twice.
