For Detroit (12-12), right-hander Keider Montero will be a key figure out of the bullpen. He started against the Brewers on Tuesday, allowing three runs over 5 2/3 innings. In his last three appearances, spanning 17 innings, he has a 3.18 ERA with 15 strikeouts.
According to Interstat, the projection model favors the Tigers with a predicted final score of 7-5. Detroit has been installed as a -1.5 run favorite, and the over/under for total runs is set at 7.
Following the game, the Brewers return home to open a series against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday. The Tigers hit the road to begin a series against the Cincinnati Reds.
