Los Angeles Dodgers at Colorado Rockies
Preview: Dodgers at Rockies, April 19, 2026
DENVER (Interstat) — The surging Los Angeles Dodgers look to continue their dominant start and secure a series win when they visit the struggling Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon at Coors Field.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. MDT under clear skies with a temperature around 54 degrees.
The Dodgers (15-4), owners of the best record in the majors, have won the first two games of this four-game set, including a 7-1 victory Friday behind a sterling performance from Tyler Glasnow. They edged the Rockies 3-2 on Saturday.
Los Angeles will send right-hander Michael Lorenzen (1-2, ERA N/A) to the mound. Lorenzen seeks to rebound from early-season struggles and provide length for a bullpen that has been effective.
He will be opposed by Colorado right-hander Zach Agnos (0-1, ERA N/A), who took the loss Friday after allowing two runs over four innings of relief. Agnos has been used in a multi-inning role out of the Rockies’ bullpen this season.
The Dodgers’ offense has been potent, averaging over six runs per game during their current 8-2 stretch. Third baseman Max Muncy, who homered twice and drove in three runs Friday, remains a key threat.
Colorado (7-13) has lost seven of its last 10 games and faces an uphill battle against a Dodgers team that has outscored opponents 36-18 over its last six contests.
A player to watch for the Rockies is reliever Brennan Bernardino, who has provided scoreless outings recently.
According to Interstat, the Dodgers are projected to win 8-3. Los Angeles is a 1.5-run favorite, and the over/under for total runs is set at 11.
Following Sunday’s game, the series concludes Monday before the Dodgers head to San Francisco for a three-game set. The Rockies will host the San Diego Padres for four games beginning Tuesday.
