Milwaukee Brewers at Boston Red Sox

BOSTON (Interstat) — Two teams trending in opposite directions meet Tuesday when the Milwaukee Brewers visit the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

The Brewers (7-2) have won seven of their last eight, including an 8-5 victory at Kansas City on Sunday. They played the Red Sox to a 5-5 tie in an exhibition Monday. Boston (2-7) has lost six straight, most recently an 8-6 defeat to San Diego on Sunday.

Milwaukee will send right-hander Jacob Misiorowski (1-0) to the mound. Boston counters with left-hander Garrett Crochet (1-1).

A player to watch for the Brewers is pitcher Kyle Harrison, who earned the win Sunday with 5 1/3 strong innings, allowing three hits and two earned runs while striking out six. For the struggling Red Sox, left fielder Masataka Yoshida showed a spark in the last game, going 3 for 4 with three RBIs. He will look to break out of a broader slump that saw him go hitless in his five previous contests.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Brewers are projected to win 7-1. Despite this, Boston has been installed as a pregame favorite with a spread of -1.5. The over/under is set at 7 runs.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. EDT under cloudy skies with a game-time temperature of 46 degrees.

The series concludes Wednesday before Milwaukee returns home to host Washington and Boston travels to St. Louis.
