FLINT, Mich. (Interstat) — Rylan Fellinger scored 2:22 into overtime as the Flint Firebirds beat the visiting Barrie Colts 4-3 on Saturday at Dort Financial Center before 2,532 fans. Martins Klaucans had one goal, two assists and five shots on goal and was Flint’s top star. Sebastian Mogull scored twice and had five shots for Barrie. Jimmy Lombardi added one goal and five shots for Flint, Nick Bogas had two assists and two shots, and Fellinger finished with one goal, four shots and two penalty minutes. Mason Courville made 12 saves on 15 shots. Nicholas Desiderio scored once and had two shots for Barrie. Luka Graziano had one assist and four shots, Carter Beauchesne one assist and one shot, and James Paul one goal and one shot for Flint. Paul and Klaucans scored in the first, Desiderio answered, Mogull tied it in the second and again late in the third after Lombardi scored. Flint improved to 10-4; Barrie fell to 3-13.
