Brown’s two goals help Soo Greyhounds beat Saginaw Spirit

MARIE, Ontario (Interstat) — Christopher Brown scored twice and the Soo Greyhounds used a three-goal second period to pull away from the Saginaw Spirit 5-2 on Wednesday at GFL Memorial Gardens. The Greyhounds improved to 10-5 while the Spirit dropped to 6-8. An announced crowd of 3,024 watched Soo win at home. Soo has won three of its last four home games. Soo had lost its previous game 1-0 at Flint, while Saginaw was coming off a 6-2 loss at Flint.
