(Interstat) — Lucas Braun struck out eight over five innings, Peyton Wilson homered twice and drove in two runs, and the Omaha Storm Chasers beat the Iowa Cubs 14-3 on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 20, 2026, at Werner Park in International League (AAA) play. Braun allowed four hits and two earned runs with one walk to earn the win and improve to 12-8. Kohl Franklin took the loss, falling to 1-2. Jacob Berry also homered and drove in three runs for Omaha, while Carson Roccaforte had three hits and two RBIs and Matthew Lugo added two RBIs. Ben Cowles homered and drove in two runs for Iowa, and Riley Martin struck out two in a scoreless inning. Iowa scored twice in the third and once in the seventh. Omaha broke the game open with a four-run fourth and a three-run sixth. The game drew 4,166 fans and took 2 hours, 51 minutes. Iowa is 61-81-1, and Omaha is 63-80.
