Christian Franklin also homered for Norfolk, which scored in each of the first four innings. Andy Weber hit a two-run homer for Charlotte. Dietrich Enns earned the win in relief, improving to 3-0. Jonathan Cannon took the loss, falling to 5-7, after allowing three earned runs and eight hits in five innings with five strikeouts.
