PENSACOLA, Fla. (Interstat) — Luis Moreno pitched six innings and Pensacola beat Biloxi 7-2 on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, in a Southern League game at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Moreno allowed two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts for the Blue Wahoos. Nigel Belgrave earned the save with three hitless innings and three strikeouts. Jaron DeBerry took the loss after giving up five earned runs on seven hits over 4 2/3 innings with three strikeouts. Max Williams homered and drove in two runs for Pensacola. Aiva Arquette homered and had two hits, while Payton Green added an RBI. Andrew Fischer and Matthew Wood each homered for Biloxi. Biloxi scored once in the third and once in the fifth. Pensacola scored two runs in the first, one in the second, two in the fourth and two in the seventh. Joshua Quezada threw 1 1/3 hitless innings in relief for Biloxi.
