BRADENTON, Fla. (Interstat) — Hunter Dobbins went 3 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs as the visiting Lakeland Flying Tigers defeated the host Bradenton Marauders 10-2 on Sept. 5 at LECOM Park.

Dobbins hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning as Lakeland scored four times after single-run second and third innings. The Flying Tigers added two in the eighth and two in the ninth. Bradenton scored once in the fourth and once in the fifth. Lakeland finished with 17 hits; Bradenton had 7.

Zach MacDonald went 3 for 4 with three RBIs, including a triple. Jordan Yost went 3 for 6 with two RBIs. Pedro Garcia earned the win, throwing 2 1/3 scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Carlos Rodriguez and Frenny Grant combined for 11 strikeouts. Garcia is 4-5.

Carlos Castillo took the loss for Bradenton and fell to 0-3, allowing two earned runs in 2 1/3 innings. Antonio Pimentel went 3 for 4 with an RBI.

Lakeland improved to 64-64. Bradenton fell to 57-70. Attendance was 2,697 and the game lasted 2:51.
