BRADENTON, Fla. (Interstat) — Yonleg Gaetano threw 4 1/3 innings and struck out four to lead the Bradenton Marauders past the Lakeland Flying Tigers 4-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, at LECOM Park.

Bradenton broke a scoreless tie in the second inning when Carl Calixte reached on a throwing error by shortstop Jordan Yost, allowing Brent Iredale to score. Lakeland answered in the third on Jude Warwick’s solo home run to right field. The Marauders regained control in the bottom half, taking a 3-1 lead on Tre Phelps’ sacrifice fly and Luke Scherrer’s force out. Bradenton added another run in the fourth as Antonio Pimentel singled home Calixte.

Pimentel finished 2 for 3 with an RBI. Gaetano allowed two hits and one earned run with four strikeouts. Inmer Lobo pitched 1 2/3 hitless innings with three strikeouts. Lakeland’s Frenny Grant struck out five over 2 1/3 innings and allowed one earned run. Caleb Leys allowed two earned runs in 2 2/3 innings.

Bradenton improved to 56-67, and Lakeland dropped to 61-63. Attendance was 399.
