JUPITER, Fla. (Interstat) — Tyce Armstrong homered and drove in two runs, Yostin Pena added a homer and two RBIs, and the Tampa Tarpons defeated the Jupiter Hammerheads 7-3 on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at Roger Dean Stadium.

Justin West pitched 4.1 innings of one-hit relief with nine strikeouts for his second save. Pedro Rodriguez (2-2) earned the win, and Hamlet Garcia (0-2) took the loss for Jupiter. Wyatt Parliament added 3.1 scoreless innings with four strikeouts. Luis De La Cruz pitched 1.2 scoreless innings for Jupiter. Tampa improved to 73-50; Jupiter fell to 60-63.

The Tarpons scored single runs in the first, second, fourth and fifth innings before adding three in the sixth. Jupiter scored three in the fifth. Echedry Vargas drove in a run for the Hammerheads. Tampa finished with seven hits, Jupiter with six. Both teams grounded into two double plays.

Attendance was 322, and the game lasted 3:09. Tampa has won five straight games.
