JUPITER, Fla. (Interstat) — Edinzo Marquez pitched five strong innings and Tyce Armstrong drove in two runs as the Tampa Tarpons beat the Jupiter Hammerheads 8-3 on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at Roger Dean Stadium.

Tampa scored single runs in the first and sixth, three in the fourth and three in the eighth. Dax Kilby hit a two-run homer in the fourth, and Armstrong homered in the eighth and went 3 for 5 with two RBIs. Paul Gutierrez-Contreras II homered in the first and drove in two, finishing 2 for 4. Marquez allowed one earned run on two hits with five strikeouts in five innings to improve to 2-2. Anthony Mena followed with two scoreless innings and a strikeout, and Greysen Carter pitched a scoreless ninth. Jake Clemente took the loss, falling to 3-2, as he gave up four earned runs over five innings with six strikeouts for Jupiter, now 60-61. Engel Peralta struck out two in 1 2/3 scoreless innings for Jupiter. Jupiter scored in the second and got two in the eighth but managed six hits total. Tampa had 10 hits and improved to 71-50. Attendance was 481; game time was 2:49.
