LAKELAND, Fla. (Interstat) — The Clearwater Threshers erased an early deficit with a five-run sixth inning and beat the Lakeland Flying Tigers 11-6 on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Clearwater improved to 69-52; Lakeland fell to 60-61. The Threshers collected 10 hits to Lakeland’s 8. Clearwater scored once in the first, four times in the fifth, five times in the sixth and once in the seventh. Lakeland answered with single runs in the second and fourth and four in the third.

Manuel Colon earned the win, allowing one earned run over two innings. Leonardo Rossell took the loss. Zach MacDonald hit a three-run homer for Lakeland, and Anibal Salas had an RBI. Tyler Spangler drove in two runs for Clearwater. Cade Climie scored three times. Carlos Rodriguez struck out one in 3.1 scoreless innings for Lakeland. Orlando Gonzalez struck out three in one inning.

Attendance was 849, and the game lasted 2:46.
