Gwinnett Stripers at Round Rock Express

ROUND ROCK, Texas (Interstat) — Two teams seeking their first series win of the young season meet Thursday when the Gwinnett Stripers visit the Round Rock Express at Dell Diamond.
The Stripers (1-2) have taken the first two games of the four-game set, including a 6-0 victory Wednesday. The Express (0-3) are still searching for their first win of 2026.
Gwinnett will send right-hander Carlos Carrasco (0-0, 0.00 ERA) to the mound for his first start of the season. Round Rock is scheduled to start right-hander Trey Supak (0-0, 0.00 ERA), also making his season debut.
A player to watch for the Stripers is pitcher Lucas Braun, who delivered a solid outing in relief on Tuesday, allowing two earned runs over 4 2/3 innings in Gwinnett’s 5-3, 10-inning victory.
Round Rock’s offense will look to designated hitter Trevor Hauver to provide a spark. Hauver went 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs in Tuesday’s loss to the Stripers, accounting for all of the Express’ runs.
The teams have played two close games to open the series, with both contests decided by three runs or fewer. Weather should not be a factor, with game-time temperatures forecast near 82 degrees under cloudy skies.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, Thursday’s contest projects to be another low-scoring affair, with a predicted final score of 2-1 in favor of Round Rock.
Following Thursday’s game, the series concludes with three more contests through Sunday. Gwinnett then returns home to face the Nashville Sounds, while Round Rock embarks on a road trip to face the Oklahoma City Comets.
