DYERSBURG, Tenn. (Interstat) — The Motlow State Bucks defeated the Dyersburg State Eagles 81-68 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

Motlow State established an early lead, outscoring Dyersburg State 44-23 in the first quarter. The Eagles responded with a 45-point second quarter, but the Bucks’ 37-point period maintained their advantage through the final whistle.

The victory improved Motlow State’s overall record to 11-10. Dyersburg State fell to 4-18. The Bucks swept the regular-season series, having also won the previous meeting on Jan. 17. Motlow State is scheduled to play next at Pellissippi State on Monday.
