East Georgia State vs Andrew
Preview: Bobcats, Fighting Tigers Seek Elusive Win in Junior College Matchup
SWAINSBORO, Ga. (Interstat) — Two men’s junior college basketball teams mired in difficult seasons will look for a rare victory when the East Georgia State Bobcats visit the Andrew Fighting Tigers on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.
East Georgia State (7-16) enters following an 88-74 road loss to South Georgia Tech on Saturday. Andrew (2-10) is coming off a heartbreaking 91-90 overtime defeat at Georgia Highlands, also on Saturday.
Despite their records, both teams feature players capable of breakout performances. The Bobcats are led by Adyn Grant, who scored 17 points in a loss to South Georgia State last Wednesday. Grant has been a consistent scorer, reaching double figures in three of his last five games.
Andrew will counter with Elijah White, who nearly posted a double-double in the narrow loss to Georgia Highlands. White played 37 minutes, scoring 14 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Teammate Elijah Hightower added a team-high 19 points in that contest.
The Bobcats have struggled for consistency, alternating wins and losses in their last five games. Andrew’s season has been defined by tough defeats, including four losses by 10 points or fewer. Their Jan. 17 home win over Georgia Highlands represents their only victory since early November.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, this contest is projected to be a dead-even affair, with a predicted final score of 100-100.
This game is the first of two regular-season meetings between the schools. They are scheduled to play again at East Georgia State on Saturday, Feb. 28.
East Georgia State will host Albany Tech on Wednesday, Feb. 18, in its next game. Andrew will travel to face South Georgia Tech on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Monday’s tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST at Andrew College.
