Colorado Northwestern vs Southern Idaho
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (Interstat) — The College of Southern Idaho Eagles delivered a dominant performance Thursday night, overwhelming Colorado Northwestern Community College 109-54 in a men’s junior college basketball game defined by a relentless defensive effort and a staggering disparity in ball security.
From the opening tip, the Eagles’ pressure set the tone. Southern Idaho forced 20 turnovers by the Spartans, converting them into a cascade of easy scoring opportunities, while committing only three turnovers of their own. The Eagles also dominated the glass, outrebounding Colorado Northwestern 56-30, including 25 offensive rebounds that fueled numerous second-chance points.

He was one of six Southern Idaho players to score in double figures, highlighting the team’s balanced attack. Cooper Kesler added 21 points, Kobe Kesler had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, Ace Reiser scored 15, and both Kyah Farris-White and Emil Hirvonen contributed 10 points each.
Colorado Northwestern, which fell to 3-15 on the season, was led by Jamison Thomson’s 13 points and six rebounds. Jordan Jones added 12 points. The Spartans struggled mightily against the Eagles’ defense, managing only two assists as a team compared to Southern Idaho’s 16.
The Eagles shot 42.9% from the field and made 16 three-pointers, while holding the Spartans to 39.6% shooting. Southern Idaho also capitalized at the free-throw line, making 21 of 27 attempts.
Southern Idaho, which improved to 16-1, has now defeated Colorado Northwestern twice this season by a combined margin of 109 points, following a 94-50 victory on Jan. 8.
