Ohlone vs San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (Interstat) — The state’s top-ranked junior college men’s basketball team aims to continue its dominant season Friday when the San Francisco Rams host the Ohlone Renegades in a California Community College Athletic Association matchup.

The Rams (21-1), whose lone loss came in non-conference play in December, have been nearly untouchable, winning their 10 conference games by an average of 27.2 points. They are coming off a 40-point rout of De Anza last Friday. San Francisco’s defense has been particularly stifling, holding opponents to an average of just 59.2 points during its current 10-game winning streak.

Ohlone (10-12) enters on a three-game skid, including a 64-68 loss at San Mateo last Friday. The Renegades’ struggles are underscored by their last meeting with the Rams, a 85-65 home loss on Jan. 14. In that contest, San Francisco’s defensive pressure overwhelmed Ohlone, a scenario the visitors must solve on the road.

The Renegades will look to forward Anthony Lacy to provide a spark. Lacy is coming off a standout performance against Canada College on Jan. 23, where he recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks in an overtime victory. Containing him will be a key focus for the Rams’ interior defense.

Despite the stark contrast in records, a statistical projection from Interstat suggests a potential thriller, simulating a 100-100 final score. For that to materialize, Ohlone must reverse its recent offensive woes and find a way to crack a San Francisco defense that has allowed more than 70 points only once since mid-December.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. PST on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at San Francisco’s home court. Following this contest, San Francisco travels to face San Mateo on Wednesday, while Ohlone prepares for a road game at De Anza.
