TORRINGTON, Wyo. (Interstat) — The Southeast Bobcats defeated the Eastern Wyoming Lancers 80-75 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

Southeast, which improved to 3-3, built a narrow halftime lead after a high-scoring first quarter where both teams posted 43 points. The Bobcats outscored the Lancers 37-32 in the second quarter to take a lead they would not relinquish. Eastern Wyoming fell to 3-14 with the loss. Key performances included R. Moorer and L. M Jr. for Eastern Wyoming, and Lachlin Curtin and Marquis Toliver for Southeast. The teams will meet again Jan. 7 in the rematch.
