(Interstat) — Walters State remained undefeated with a decisive 112-70 men’s junior college basketball victory over Southern Crescent on Saturday. The visiting Senators dominated from the start, building a 58-34 lead by halftime and never relenting. Carter Webb led Walters State with 17 points. The Senators shot 65% from the floor and made 16 3-pointers in the rout. Khaven Coachran scored 16 points for the Tigers. Walters State improved to 9-0 overall, while Southern Crescent fell to 0-5. The teams meet again on Thursday.
