LOS ANGELES HARBOR, Calif. (Interstat) — Max Choi scored 23 points to lead Los Angeles Harbor to a 91-84 victory over Copper Mountain in a California men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

The Seahawks (6-2) used a 52-point second quarter to pull away after the teams were tied 39-39 through one. Amarion Wallace paced the Fighting Cacti (5-3) with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Both teams shot 28 field goals, but Los Angeles Harbor attempted 38 free throws, making 27, and held a 41-31 rebounding advantage. The Seahawks’ offensive efficiency proved decisive in the seven-point win.
