PETERSBURG, Va. (Interstat) — Wake Tech defeated Richard Bland 96-86 in a double-overtime men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday. The visiting Eagles improved to 2-3 overall, while the host Eagles fell to 0-3. The game surpassed projections, as Interstat’s ELO system had given Richard Bland a 70% probability to win. The teams are scheduled to meet again on Feb. 4 in Wake Tech’s next 10-game stretch.
