UNDATED (Interstat) — The unbeaten Las Positas Hawks will put their perfect record on the line against the Siskiyous Eagles in a California men’s junior college basketball game Thursday.

The game, part of the 42OT Annual James Clark Classic, tips off Dec. 4 at Siskiyous.

Las Positas (6-0) has dominated early season competition, winning its games by an average margin of 31.8 points. The Hawks are coming off a 103-56 rout of Monterey Peninsula on Nov. 21. Their closest contest was a 78-77 victory over Cosumnes River on Nov. 8.

Siskiyous (3-5) has struggled for consistency, alternating wins and losses in its last five games. The Eagles fell 87-82 at Mendocino in their most recent outing on Nov. 22. Defensive lapses have been an issue, as they have allowed 81 or more points in four of their five losses.

According to Interstat’s ELO system, Las Positas is projected with an 83.40 percent probability to win Thursday’s matchup.

The game is the first of a busy three-day stretch for both teams in tournament play.
