Imperial Valley vs Los Angeles Harbor
IMPERIAL VALLEY, Calif. (Interstat) — The struggling Imperial Valley College men’s basketball team seeks its first win of the season Friday when it faces Los Angeles Harbor College in the Gregg Anderson Tournament.
The Arabs (0-7) enter the non-conference matchup reeling from a 156-52 home loss to San Bernardino Valley on Nov. 21, the most lopsided result in their difficult start. Imperial Valley has lost its games by an average margin of 37.7 points. Kristian Jemerson scored 20 points in that defeat, while Max Choi added 18.
The Seahawks (4-2) have won three of their last four, including an 84-75 road victory at Los Angeles Trade-Tech on Nov. 20. Their two losses came against Desert and Mount San Jacinto.
Friday’s game at the Gregg Anderson Tournament in California presents a stark contrast in early-season fortunes. Los Angeles Harbor will look to maintain its winning momentum before hosting Santa Ana on Dec. 10. Imperial Valley continues a tough stretch, visiting Chaffey on Dec. 11.
The game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, 2025.
