Caldwell Tech vs Harcum
Preview: Caldwell Tech Cobras at Harcum Bears
BRYN MAWR, Pa. (Interstat) — The Harcum Bears, riding a five-game winning streak, will host the Caldwell Tech Cobras in a men’s junior college basketball matchup on Sunday, December 14.
Harcum (5-1) enters with momentum after a 90-75 victory over Cape Fear on Friday. The Bears’ lone loss was a 37-83 defeat at Vincennes on Nov. 8, but they have since found their rhythm, winning decisively in their last three outings. Guard Nico Pena has been a key facilitator, dishing four assists and scoring 16 points in a recent 88-59 win over Baltimore City on Dec. 6.
The Caldwell Tech Cobras (3-2) look to rebound from an 83-66 road loss at Chattanooga State on Saturday. Prior to that, the Cobras had won two straight, including high-scoring victories over Harford (114-88) and Pellissippi State (113-100) in late November. Their success has been fueled by forward Jared Taylor, who posted a dominant 21-point, 12-rebound performance against Harford and followed with 19 points and seven rebounds against Pellissippi State.
The game presents a contrast in trajectories. Harcum has consistently controlled opponents during its streak, while Caldwell Tech seeks to re-establish its offensive firepower after being held to a season-low 66 points in its last contest. Containing Taylor will be a primary focus for the Bears’ defense.
This is the final game for both teams before breaking for the holiday period. Harcum’s next contest is at Hagerstown on Jan. 12, 2026. Caldwell Tech returns to action on Dec. 18, hosting Cleveland State.
Tip-off is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Harcum’s campus arena.
