SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Interstat) — A surging Moorpark College men’s basketball team will look to extend its perfect start to the season when it faces a struggling San Bernardino Valley College squad on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, in the Alvin Hunter Classic Tournament.

The Raiders (2-0) have opened the season with a pair of dominant, high-scoring victories at home. They are coming off an 88-66 win over Los Angeles City on Nov. 2, following a 105-78 rout of Los Angeles Valley the previous day.

Conversely, the Wolverines (0-2) are searching for their first win after two lopsided losses. They fell 114-77 to Citrus College on Nov. 7, a result identical to their first meeting with Citrus on that same date. San Bernardino Valley also dropped a close 82-79 contest at Pasadena City on Nov. 4.

The matchup presents a stark contrast in early-season momentum. Moorpark’s offense has averaged 96.5 points per game, while San Bernardino Valley’s defense has allowed an average of 103.5 points in its two outings.

Saturday’s contest is a non-conference tournament game for both teams before they return to their respective schedules next week.
