EL CAJON, Calif. (Interstat) — The undefeated Santa Ana Dons will put their perfect record on the line against the host Cuyamaca Coyotes in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday at the Cuyamaca Tournament.

Santa Ana (4-0) enters the contest riding a wave of high-scoring victories. The Dons are coming off a dominant 103-56 win over Imperial Valley on Friday. Their potent offense has averaged over 91 points per game this season.

Cuyamaca (2-1) looks to build momentum after a 74-69 victory over Lemoore, also on Friday. The Coyotes’ lone loss was a 87-66 defeat on the road against Canyons on Nov. 1. They opened their season with a narrow 68-67 win over Oxnard.

The matchup pits Santa Ana’s high-powered attack against a Cuyamaca team that has shown an ability to win close games. This is the first of two scheduled meetings between the teams this season; they are slated to play again at Cuyamaca on Dec. 3.

Saturday’s game is part of the Cuyamaca Tournament. The Dons’ next game is at home against Desert on Nov. 13, while the Coyotes will host Rio Hondo on Nov. 12.
