FULLERTON, Calif. (Interstat) — The Fullerton Hornets overwhelmed the Orange Coast Pirates 74-45 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night.

Fullerton established a commanding 41-21 lead by the end of the first quarter and never relented. Bishop Brooks led the Hornets with 17 points. Donovan Pitts added 16 for Fullerton, which improved to 25-1 overall.

Orange Coast, which fell to 1-26, shot just 29% from the floor. Jay Fromm and Chris Obiajulu each scored 10 points for the Pirates.

The Hornets forced 16 turnovers and outrebounded Orange Coast 46-31 in a comprehensive victory.
