Palomar Comets Cruise Past Imperial Valley Arabs in California Conference Rout

IMPERIAL, Calif. (Interstat) — The Palomar Comets dominated the Imperial Valley Arabs 108-77 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night.

Palomar, which improved to 16-7 overall, controlled the game from the start against an Imperial Valley team that fell to 0-24. The Comets’ offense proved overwhelming, building a consistent lead that the Arabs could not challenge.

The result followed the season trend for both teams. Palomar had previously defeated Imperial Valley by 67 points last month. The Arabs’ losing streak now stands at 24 games to begin their season.

Palomar next hosts Grossmont on Friday. Imperial Valley travels to face San Diego Miramar, also on Friday.
