MOORPARK, Calif. (Interstat) — Eric Kubel scored 30 points to propel Moorpark to a 77-71 men’s junior college basketball victory over Allan Hancock on Wednesday night. The Raiders, who improved to 16-9, avenged a loss from earlier this season behind Kubel’s efficient performance. The Bulldogs (18-8) were led by Arlind Konjuhi’s 18 points. Moorpark built a narrow 42-41 halftime lead and maintained it through the second half, aided by a 12-for-32 shooting performance from 3-point range. Allan Hancock shot just 43.8% from the field and committed 13 turnovers in the defeat.
