SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Interstat) — Jacob Harvey recorded 20 rebounds and 17 points Friday night to power the Diablo Valley Vikings to a 93-60 men’s junior college basketball victory over the Sacramento City Panthers.

The Vikings dominated from the start, building a 40-21 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 93-60 by the final horn. Harvey’s double-double anchored a stifling defensive effort where Diablo Valley forced 13 steals and outrebounded Sacramento City 48-35.

Mozell Wilson added 16 points and five assists for the Vikings, who improved to 10-11. Dylan Devinney also scored 17 points. The Panthers fell to 8-16 with the loss, unable to replicate their win over Diablo Valley from Jan. 8. The Vikings shot 45.3 percent from the floor and posted an offensive rating of 111.0 on 84 possessions.
