Skyline vs Ohlone

Preview: Skyline at Ohlone in Key California JUCO Matchup

FREMONT, Calif. (Interstat) — Two men’s junior college basketball teams seeking momentum will meet Wednesday when the Skyline Trojans visit the Ohlone Renegades in a California Community College Athletic Conference game.

The matchup features teams with nearly identical records. Ohlone (10-12) holds a slight edge over Skyline (9-13) in the standings. The Renegades won the first meeting this season, 79-69, at Skyline on Jan. 9.

Skyline has lost five of its last six games, including a 60-58 defeat at Chabot last Friday. The Trojans will lean on guard Zidane Auzarang, who has been a consistent offensive force. In the first game against Ohlone, Auzarang recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. He is averaging 21 points over his last four contests.

Ohlone has also struggled recently, dropping three straight, including a 68-64 loss at San Mateo last Friday. The Renegades’ strength lies in forward Anthony Lacy, who posted a 19-point, 11-rebound, five-block performance in a win over Canada (Calif.) on Jan. 23. His interior presence will be key against Skyline.

Both teams have faced challenging conference schedules. Skyline’s recent losses include narrow defeats to Canada and San Mateo. Ohlone’s skid includes an overtime loss to Canada and a close loss to De Anza.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, this contest is projected to be a toss-up, with a predicted final score of 100-100, indicating a potential high-scoring affair.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at Ohlone College.

Skyline’s next game is at home against San Mateo on Friday. Ohlone will travel to face San Francisco in its next contest, also on Friday.
