FORT VALLEY, Ga. (Interstat) — Southern Crescent defeated Georgia Highlands 68-61 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Tigers, led by Khaven Coachran’s game-high 30 points and eight rebounds, improved to 3-18. The Chargers fell to 8-13 despite 16 points from Justin Rushin. Southern Crescent built a 37-26 first-quarter lead and maintained the advantage throughout. Coachran added a block and a steal in 40 minutes for the Tigers. Justen Goudelock scored 13 points for Georgia Highlands in the loss.
