WESSON, Miss. (Interstat) — The Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs earned a 65-59 men’s junior college basketball win over the Copiah-Lincoln Wolves on Thursday night. The visiting Bulldogs built a 30-23 lead after the first quarter and maintained that margin despite being outscored 36-35 after halftime. Duran Parish led Mississippi Gulf Coast with 20 points. Tyrell Bowles paced Copiah-Lincoln with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Morris Hammond added 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs improved to 18-4 overall, while the Wolves fell to 9-11.
