Denmark Tech vs Caldwell Tech

Preview: Denmark Tech Panthers at Caldwell Tech Cobras

DENMARK, S.C. (Interstat) — The struggling Denmark Tech Panthers will look to snap an eight-game losing streak when they visit the Caldwell Tech Cobras in a men’s junior college basketball matchup Tuesday night.

The Panthers (1-11) enter on the heels of a 129-81 home defeat to Brunswick on Sunday, the latest in a series of lopsided losses. Denmark Tech’s defense has been a persistent issue, allowing an average of 101.5 points per game during its current skid. Their sole victory this season came on Nov. 15, 2025.

Caldwell Tech (8-8) seeks to return to the .500 mark after a narrow 100-99 road loss to USC Salkehatchie on Saturday. The Cobras have shown resilience, including an overtime win at Cape Fear earlier this month, but have struggled with consistency, alternating wins and losses in their last six contests.

The matchup presents a stark contrast in trajectories. The Cobras’ offense, which has topped 100 points four times this season, will test a porous Panthers defense. Denmark Tech has allowed 119 or more points in three of its last five games.

For Caldwell Tech, the game is a chance to build momentum before a key three-game homestand against region opponents Brunswick, Gaston and Richard Bland later this week. Denmark Tech continues a tough stretch, facing Richard Bland and Wake Tech at home following this contest.

Tuesday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. EST at Caldwell Tech’s home arena.
