Seminole State (Okla.) vs Northern Oklahoma-Enid
ENID, Okla. (Interstat) — A key regional men’s junior college basketball matchup is set for Monday night as the Seminole State Trojans visit the Northern Oklahoma-Enid Jets.
The game, scheduled for Feb. 23, 2026, at Northern Oklahoma-Enid’s home court, features two teams heading in opposite directions in the second half of the season. The visiting Trojans (13-6) bring a five-game winning streak into the contest, while the Jets (10-9) have lost three of their last four.
Seminole State won the first meeting this season, a narrow 81-78 victory at home on Jan. 22. The Trojans have been consistently strong since, including an 89-73 win over Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa on Feb. 16. Their recent success has been built on close victories, with three wins in their streak coming by five points or fewer.
Northern Oklahoma-Enid is looking to stabilize after a rocky stretch. The Jets are coming off a dramatic 88-87 road win over Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa on Feb. 19, which snapped a three-game skid. A key player in that victory and for the Jets’ hopes Monday is KeJuan Payne. The guard is coming off a season-best performance, scoring 19 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the win. Over his last four games, he is averaging 11.3 points and 5.0 rebounds.
For Seminole State, balance has been a strength. In the Jan. 22 win over the Jets, no single player dominated, but a collective effort secured the win. Containing Payne and finding consistent scoring against a Jets team playing at home will be critical for the Trojans to extend their streak.
The matchup carries weight for regional standings as both teams prepare for the final stretch before postseason play. A win for Seminole State would solidify its position near the top, while a home victory for Northern Oklahoma-Enid would provide a crucial boost and a season split with a key rival.
Tip-off is set for Monday night in Enid.
