PRICE, Utah (Interstat) — Utah State Eastern edged Colorado Northwestern 72-68 in a men’s junior college basketball game Thursday night. The Eagles improved to 18-7 while the Spartans fell to 3-22.

Bowen Davies led Utah State Eastern with 15 points. Gibson Walton scored 15 for Colorado Northwestern, which shot 10 of 30 from three-point range but was outrebounded 41-33. The Spartans kept pace by making 12 of 13 free throws, while the Eagles went 9 for 19 from the line.

Utah State Eastern built a 38-36 halftime lead and maintained a narrow advantage throughout the second half to secure the victory.
