(Interstat) — Wabash Valley defeated Shawnee 72-68 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night. The Warriors, who led 27-33 after a high-scoring first quarter, held off a second-half push from the Saints. Shawnee’s James Deloach led all scorers with 23 points and added six rebounds in the loss. Zaiden Green contributed 16 points and seven assists for the Saints. The victory improves Wabash Valley’s overall record to 11-11, while Shawnee falls to 7-10. The Warriors swept the regular-season series, having also won 61-59 on Jan. 14.
