Hagerstown vs Harcum
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Interstat) — The Hagerstown Hawks will look to avenge a decisive loss from earlier this season when they visit the Harcum Bears in a men’s junior college basketball game Tuesday night.
Hagerstown (3-10) enters the contest on the heels of a narrow 86-83 home loss to Harford on Feb. 9. The Hawks’ only win in their last five outings was a 63-58 victory over Baltimore City on Feb. 4. Their season has been marked by offensive struggles, with the team failing to reach 60 points in seven of their 10 losses.
Harcum (7-4) presents a formidable challenge, especially on its home floor. The Bears have won three of their last five games, with their most recent result a 92-71 loss to Monroe on Jan. 24. Prior to that, they suffered an 89-81 defeat to Allegany (Md.) on Jan. 17.
The most recent meeting between these teams heavily favors the Bears. On Jan. 12 in Hagerstown, Harcum dominated for a 76-55 victory. The Hawks will need significant production from their top performers to reverse that result. In the loss to Harford, Zion Moore led the way with 28 points in 29 minutes, while Yannick Andjombi-Chut added 12 points and five rebounds. Bryce Adams contributed nine points and two blocks.
Harcum’s season has featured more offensive firepower, including a 95-point outing against Harford in November and a 90-point performance against Cape Fear in December. Their consistency, however, will be tested as they aim to rebound from their loss to Monroe.
For Hagerstown, the game at Harcum begins a tough stretch to close the season, with two games against Allegany (Md.) looming next week. Harcum will continue a busy schedule, traveling to Monroe on Saturday before a rematch with Harford on Feb. 24.
Tipoff is set for Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at Harcum College.
