Monroe vs Baltimore City
BALTIMORE (Interstat) — A surging Monroe men’s junior college basketball team will look to extend its winning streak against a Baltimore City squad still searching for its first victory when the Mustangs visit the Panthers on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.
Monroe (12-4) enters on a three-game win streak, most recently defeating Harford 103-88 on Feb. 3. The Mustangs’ offense has been potent, averaging 86.5 points during their current run. A key catalyst is Riley Dunn, who posted a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Harford. Dunn has been a consistent defensive presence, recording three blocks in each of his last two contests.
Baltimore City (0-7) is coming off a 63-58 loss to Hagerstown on Feb. 4. The Panthers have struggled on both ends of the floor, allowing an average of 84.1 points per game while being outscored by nearly 19 points per contest this season.
History heavily favors the visiting Mustangs. The teams met earlier this season on Dec. 5, 2025, with Monroe securing an 86-64 home victory. Monroe’s balance was on display in that win, a characteristic of their season. In the rematch at Harford, Naceiar Kirksey led all scorers with 24 points while Faquir Mosley added 13.
For Baltimore City, the matchup represents a significant challenge but also an opportunity to reverse its fortunes against a familiar regional opponent. The Panthers will need to find an answer for Monroe’s interior defense, anchored by Dunn, and generate consistent scoring to keep pace.
The game tips off Saturday in Baltimore. Monroe’s next scheduled game is at home against Harcum on Feb. 21. Baltimore City is next scheduled to host Allegany (Md.) on Feb. 25.
