Gulf Coast State 87, at Chipola 59

MARIANNA, Fla. (Interstat) — The Gulf Coast State Commodores dominated the Chipola Indians 87-59 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday, completing a regular-season sweep. Gulf Coast State seized control with a 45-point first quarter and led 87-59 at halftime, a margin that held through a scoreless second half. The victory improved the Commodores to 16-3, while Chipola fell to 16-6. The result was an upset according to Interstat’s ELO system, which gave Chipola a 60.9% probability to win.
