WEST PLAINS, Mo. (Interstat) — The Mineral Area Cardinals dominated the Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies 94-74 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night. Mineral Area established a commanding 49-33 lead by halftime and maintained control throughout the second half to secure the road victory.

The win improves Mineral Area’s season record to 11-5, while Missouri State-West Plains falls to 3-8. The Cardinals’ efficient offense proved decisive as they consistently outpaced the Grizzlies. Key individual performances fueled the Mineral Area effort, led by Lee Williams. Tyrell Smith was a standout for the home team.

The teams are scheduled to meet again Feb. 4 at Mineral Area.
