RANGELY, Colo. (Interstat) — North Idaho dominated Colorado Northwestern 81-55 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Cardinal built a 38-25 lead after the first quarter and never trailed.

Ne’quan Brown led North Idaho with 18 points and eight rebounds. Austin Ouko and Gage Ontiveros each added 16 points for the Cardinal. Trey Johnson scored 15 points for the Spartans in the loss.

North Idaho improved to 8-6 overall. Colorado Northwestern fell to 3-13. The teams will meet again Jan. 24 in Coeur d’Alene.
