Three Rivers vs State Fair
Preview: Three Rivers Raiders at State Fair Roadrunners
SEDALIA, Mo. (Interstat) — A surging Three Rivers men’s junior college basketball team will look to extend its winning streak against a struggling State Fair squad when the Raiders visit the Roadrunners on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.
The Raiders (11-5) enter on a three-game win streak, most recently edging Moberly Area 70-67 on Wednesday. Antonio Williams, a key player to watch, posted 14 points, six rebounds and two blocks in that victory. The forward has been a consistent force, averaging 18 points and 7.3 rebounds over his last three contests, including a 26-point performance in a narrow loss to Northeast Mississippi on Dec. 13.
Three Rivers’ recent success has been built on balanced contributions. In the win over Moberly Area, Matt Hampton led all scorers with 18 points, while Drew Ward distributed a team-high eight assists.
State Fair (3-8) seeks to halt a four-game skid, having suffered a 90-61 road loss to Mineral Area on Wednesday. Da’Ron Hall, the Roadrunners’ player to watch, managed eight points and eight rebounds in just one minute of play in that defeat, highlighting his per-minute productivity. His season has been inconsistent, however, as he was held to just two points in 23 minutes in a loss to Coffeyville on Jan. 3.
The Roadrunners’ defense will be tested by a Three Rivers offense that has scored 70 or more points in nine of its 11 victories this season. State Fair has allowed an average of 83.4 points during its current losing streak.
This matchup is the first of two regular-season meetings between the teams. They are scheduled to meet again at Three Rivers on Jan. 28 and conclude the series in Sedalia on Feb. 14.
For State Fair, the game begins a tough stretch of five consecutive contests against region opponents. Three Rivers continues a road-heavy portion of its schedule before returning home to host Mineral Area on Jan. 17.
Tip-off is set for Saturday at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.
