RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (Interstat) — The Chaffey College men’s basketball team defeated Cerro Coso 72-60 in a California Community College Athletic Association game Saturday.

The Panthers improved to 6-8 overall, while the Coyotes fell to 4-8. Chaffey built a commanding 39-32 lead after a high-scoring first quarter and maintained a double-digit advantage through the second half, leading 72-60 at the break. The Coyotes could not close the gap after halftime. Key performances fueled the home victory, though specific statistics were not immediately available. The teams are scheduled to meet again in Ridgecrest on Jan. 31.
