FULLERTON, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2025) (Interstat) — The Fullerton Hornets defeated the San Diego City Knights 66-59 in a men’s junior college basketball game Friday night. Fullerton improved to 9-1 overall, while San Diego City fell to 7-3.

Brayden Smith led all scorers with 28 points for the Hornets. Dylan Griffin paced the Knights with 21 points. The game was closely contested, with both teams committing eight steals and eight assists. Fullerton secured the win with superior rebounding, holding a 34-29 edge, and more efficient shooting from the floor, making 24 of 55 attempts compared to San Diego City’s 19 of 44. The Knights kept pace but were hindered by 16 turnovers.
