COLUMBIA, Calif. (Interstat) — Two of California’s top junior college men’s basketball teams will square off Friday when the Foothill Owls visit the Columbia Claim Jumpers.

Foothill (7-2) enters on a four-game winning streak, averaging 81 points per game during that stretch. The Owls are coming off a 75-68 home victory over Redwoods on Nov. 22.

Columbia (7-1) has won seven straight since a season-opening loss, including an 81-70 win over Folsom Lake on Nov. 30. Forward Ahsan Huff led the way in that contest with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

The matchup features two potent offenses. Foothill has scored 84 or more points in five of its wins, while Columbia has topped 95 points three times this season.

The game is the final non-conference tune-up for both teams before their upcoming league schedules. Foothill next hosts Lemoore on Dec. 10. Columbia’s next game is at home against Contra Costa on Dec. 13.

Tip-off is set for Friday, Dec. 5.
