SAN DIEGO (Interstat) — The surging Fullerton Hornets will put their 7-1 record on the line when they visit the San Diego Miramar Jets in a California community college men’s basketball game Wednesday.

Fullerton, coming off a decisive 79-57 road win over Palomar on Saturday, has won three straight. Brayden Smith led the Hornets in that victory with 20 points and nine rebounds, supported by Jaqari Miles (19 points, eight rebounds) and Yoda Oke (18 points, seven rebounds).

The Jets (4-3) last played on Nov. 21, earning a 71-67 home victory over Victor Valley. Miramar has split its last four contests.

Wednesday’s matchup precedes a busy December slate for both teams. Fullerton will host San Diego City next Friday, Dec. 12, while Miramar will welcome Santiago Canyon on the same date.
