COLUMBIA, Calif. (Interstat) — Two of California’s top men’s junior college basketball teams will meet Saturday when the Columbia Claim Jumpers host the Redwoods Corsairs.

The Claim Jumpers (5-1) enter the non-conference matchup riding a four-game winning streak. Their most recent victory was a 78-73 win over Cabrillo on Wednesday. Columbia’s only loss this season came on the road against Cosumnes River, 87-84, on Nov. 6.

The visiting Corsairs (5-3) look to bounce back from a 75-68 road loss to Foothill last Saturday. That defeat snapped a two-game winning streak for Redwoods, which had previously posted victories over Siskiyous (81-63) and Sacramento City (94-85).

Both teams feature high-scoring offenses, setting the stage for a potential shootout. The game is part of a busy stretch for each squad; Columbia hosts Folsom Lake on Sunday, while Redwoods travels to face Coalinga the same day.

Tip-off is set for Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.
